Rowing Boss Effort for iPhone and iPad
Rowing Boss Effort collects nothing. There is no account, no sign-in, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking and no server behind the app. Everything you log and unlock stays on your own device.
This policy applies to the iOS app Rowing Boss Effort and to nothing else. It is written to match the App Privacy answers on the App Store listing and the privacy manifest shipped inside the app.
None. No personal data, no usage data, no identifiers and no diagnostics leave your device. The App Store data-collection answers are "Data Not Collected" in every category. The app has no account and no login, shows no advertising, offers no purchases, and has no chat or user-to-user features.
The app makes no network requests and works fully offline — it runs the same in Airplane Mode from first launch onward. It does not provide forecasts, live radar, alerts or sensor measurements; the conditions you review are the ones you record yourself.
| What | Why | Where |
|---|---|---|
| Rainfall entries, your seven-day Rain Index, calendar and chart history, completed missions and unlocked storm medals | So the app remembers your journal and progress | JSON encoded into iOS user defaults belonging to this app |
| Settings and preferences | So your choices survive a relaunch | iOS user defaults belonging to this app |
All of it lives in the app's sandbox, is removed when the app is deleted, and can be cleared from the app's own Settings with a confirmation step.
Rowing Boss Effort requests no system permissions at all. It does not use the camera, does not open your photo library, does not access your location, and does not send notifications. Nothing is asked of you beyond installing the app, and every feature works with those permissions never granted.
NSPrivacyAccessedAPICategoryUserDefaults — reason CA92.1. User defaults are read and written only to store this app's own journal and settings, and are not shared with any other app or SDK.The app has no external dependencies: no advertising, analytics, attribution or crash-reporting SDK is bundled, so no additional third-party privacy manifests apply.
The app is suitable for all ages. Because nothing is collected, nothing is collected from children either. There are no purchases, no chat, no user-to-user features and no advertising.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version ships with a new release of the app and the date at the top of this page changes with it. Material changes will also be noted in the release notes.
Questions about privacy in Rowing Boss Effort can be raised through the app's App Store listing, using the standard feedback and review options Apple provides there. The in-app Settings screen and the support page also answer the most common questions.
