Help for your club's cox's logbook
Rowing Boss Effort is an offline logbook for the cox or captain of a small river rowing club. The first screen is the jetty this morning: the river from boathouse to bridge, the flag showing the wind you logged, the water mark on the jetty post, and a GO / NO-GO call for today's outing. Log each outing by boat, crew, pieces, stroke rate and conditions, review which conditions your crew rows best in, track the regattas on your season, and keep notes on each rower's habits.
Rowing Boss Effort requests no system permissions. It does not use the camera, does not open your photo library, does not access your location, and does not send push notifications. Every feature works without granting anything.
Works offline, no account needed. There is no sign-in and no server; everything is stored on your device.
Yes. Outings, crew, regattas and settings are stored on your device as you go, so they are there the next time you open the app.
Open the in-app Settings screen and choose Erase All Data, which asks you to confirm before it clears the logbook and returns the app to its first-launch state. It cannot be undone from inside the app.
No. Rowing Boss Effort is a manual logbook, not a forecast service. The wind, rain, stream and water-mark conditions on the jetty are the ones you log yourself; the app makes no network requests.
Entries live in the app's own storage, so they travel with an encrypted iPhone or iCloud device backup restored onto a device. A fresh install without a backup starts with the sample club, because nothing is stored off the device.
No. The app is entirely offline. There is no account, no sign-in and no server.
